The College of Engineering at Swansea University wishes to purchase an INFRA RED (IR) OVEN for sintering and curing of coatings.The IR oven is a key piece of hardware for the SPECIFIC IKC (Sustainable Product Engineering Centre for Innovative Functional Industrial Coatings Innovative Knowledge Centre). The IKC will cover technology areas including PV, thermal solar, batteries, chemical conversion and large area lighting.The IR oven is envisaged to be the precursor to a number of manufacturing operations and as such this will act as a demonstrator and showcase for the manufacturing capability of the equipment
