In-situ fully automatic stable isotope analyzer for renewable hydrogen and methane bioprocesses

Descriptions

A stable isotope analytical platform is required to investigate the stable isotopes arising from the renewable hydrogen and methane production processes. The system should consist of a Isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) specifically configured for m/z 2 to 46 analysis for CO2, N2 and H2 analysis.System should also be usable for N2O, CO, O2, SO, NO, CO and CH4 (converted to CO2).Important analytes are hydrogen and methane, so conversions systems such as furnaces should be provided as appropriate.System should consist of a autosampler and system capable of multiplexing (minimum of 2) to take a number of discrete samples automatically from labscale and pilot scale bioreactors. The bio reactors will be capable of providing 2-10 mls of biogas per minute.
