Descriptions

The National Trust wishes to appoint a single organisation building contractor for the repair and conservation of the existing showrooms (State Rooms) and additional spaces at Knole, a Grade 1 listed building open to the public. Works will include conservation repairs to floors, walls, panelling and ceilings, structural repairs and re-servicing, insulation and fire compartmentation works and will be carried out in a phased way to allow the house to remain accessible to the public throughout the works.
