This tender is for a framework agreement for the erection, maintenance and dismantling of electricity ‘Goalposts’ adjacent to Overhead Power Lines (OHPLs) on the Forestry Commission public estate throughout England, in 15 geographic Lots. Goalposts are visible structures used to limit the height of vehicles and loads passing under the overhead powerlines on forest work sites. The goalposts will be made of 110mm yellow polythene pipes provided by the FC in 6m lengths. The Supplier will provide all other materials and transport, and will construct and install these goalposts to FC specification on forestry work sites within a week of accepting an order. The services include undertaking urgent repairs within 24 hours and undertaking recorded inspections every 6 weeks whilst the goalpost installation is in use, and removing the goalposts when they are no longer required.
