The contract work shall include but not be limited to the following:•Employ Western Power Distribution to upgrade the existing incoming mains supply from 140kVA to 170kVA.•Employ Western Power Distribution to provide a new CT metering panel•Arrange for the meter upgrade with current supplier•Removal of existing busbar chamber, switchgear and redundant supplies from the existing mains intake located within the Mess Hut.•Provide new Main Panel Board, 12 way, wall mounted complete with associated MCCB’s, sub-mains metering and surge suppression.•Provide new 4 core 300mm² Cu XLPE/SWA/PVC sub-main cable to feed new development.•Provide new Panel Board mounted within external weather proof GRP enclosure adjacent to the new Accommodation Block.•Provide metering facilities within new Panel Board.•Provide multi-core Cu XLPE/SWA/PVC cables from ways within the new Panel Board to new sub-distribution boards and other loads. •Provide new TP&N Distribution Boards, MCBs and/or RCBOs at the Vehicle Store & Accommodation Block.•Rise of Earth Potential mitigation.•Provide wireways as necessary for the new installation works.•Liaise with Main Contractor to ensure suitable trenching, ducting and drawpits are provided.•Provide general and emergency lighting installation(s).•Provide external lighting.•Provide Street and car park lighting.•Provision of small power installation(s).•Provision of data installation(s).•Supply and installation of a new fire alarm system.•Supply and installation of new security alarm system.•Provision of a disabled toilet alarm system.•Modify & extend the existing CCTV system c/w new cameras, control and recording facilities.•Provide cost option for ANPR system.•Earthing & bonding,•Testing and commissioningAll electrical work shall be carried out by a contractor who is a current member of either the NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting), the ECA (Electrical Contractors' Association) or NAPIT (National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers). The installation shall be carried out in full compliance with the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2008 including amendments.Work is expected to start end of August 2012 with a 12 week duration period
