Descriptions
Cadw is the Welsh Government's historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales. Cadw have a requirement for a qualified and experienced ground works contractor to deliver the contract for the replacement of footpaths to the inner ward at Caerphilly Castle.The works briefly comprise of the removal of the existing surface and hard-core, installation of service ducts/electrical cables, installation of new electrical uplighters and external power points for events, demolition of existing steps leading from north/west tower to north outer ward, installation of a new access ramp into the south guard room and laying of new edgings, resin gravel and stone pavers.Please note that all bidders are encouraged to make a visit to the site during the tendering period to familiarise themselves with the location and any particulars of the site.Further and more detailed particulars can be found in the full tender pack included in the attachments section of this ITT.
