The council is looking for a contractor to provide the complete installation and full commissioning of solar Photovoltaic (PV) electricity generating panels and all associated inverter, monitoring, grid connection, and metering equipment as per the project specification. The scheme is to be MCS compliant and include full registration of the installation under the Government Feed-In-Tariff scheme.Contractors must be either NICEIC or ECA approved and MCS accredited to install PV Systems and allow payments to be claimed under the FIT Scheme.The scheme is to be MCS compliant and include full registration of the installation under the Government Feed-In-Tariff scheme before the 1st January 2016.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
