Installation Works for New Quay Ventilation Fan Louvre Damper Assemblies

These Queensway Tunnel fans and Louvre assemblies have been in service since installation in 1934. The Louvre assemblies are now life expired and unserviceable To engage the services of a Mechanical Installation Specialist to carry out the installation of four replacement Louvre Damper Assemblies located at New Quay Ventilation Station Liverpool. Works are to include decommissioning and disposal of existing units. This is a continuation of on-going programme of essential asset maintenance in New Quay Ventilation Building. Improved access for maintenance of rolling elements will be achieved by eliminating mid-bearing assemblies. Once completed the ventilation assets in the grade 2 listed New Quay station building will continue to serve the Queensway Mersey Tunnel
