Descriptions
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council are looking to appoint suitably and experienced providers for the provision of a service to promote, support and improve the mental, physical, emotional and economic well-being of carers, so they can continue in their caring role, look after their own health and wellbeing and have a life of their own in terms of opportunities for work, training, education, leisure and social interaction.The provider will be expected to provide an Integrated Carers' Service which is based around a central hub with spokes built around Integrated Care Communities using local venues including primary care practices to ensure carers are identified, recognised and supported to continue their caring role while having an opportunity for a life outside of caring in work, education and leisure. The benefit of being located in and around integrated localities will be identifying increasing numbers of carers at the earliest opportunity which is a key priority in the national carers' strategy.City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is purchasing the services on behalf of Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group, Bradford City Clinical Commissioning Group, Bradford District Clinical Commissioning Group and North Yorkshire County Council.Further details of the requirements will be specified within the tender documents and will be made available via the regional tendering website http://YORtender.co.uk.
