The contract includes the provision of integrated economic development and business support services including:— comprehensive advice, guidance and training to Stirling businesses;— targeted business support for rural businesses;— development and maintenance of an online business support portal including business database, property database, facts / figures and statistics;— business / market research and intelligence;— business location and property services;— business events / networking organisation and facilitation;— support to access finance and become investor ready;— redundancy support;— strategic development support to businesses.The intent is to simplify the business support landscape by integrating and providing a broader range of services to better support the establishment of new companies and growth of existing businesses, thereby sustaining and improving the economy of the Stirling area.
