Vale of Glamorgan Council is a Social Housing Landlord and provide homes to over 4,000 tenants.The Council has responsibility for Homelessness provision and incorporates a large DSO internal contractor, responsible for maintaining council homes and the wider estate of civic buildings, leisure centres etc.Vale of Glamorgan have utilised a mixture of solutions for nearly two decades. Vale of Glamorgan would like to research the range of proven housing and contractor/DLO solutions, in successful use at similar council providers.The aim is to consolidate and integrate solutions, onto a modern Cloud based platform to leverage efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction. Browser presentation will be expected to free staff to be more mobile and work more flexibly wherever required, on schemes or accessing systems securely from home. One other key goal is to provide excellent self-service opportunities for tenants and other customers, whenever needed or desired.The Vale of Glamorgan therefore invite suitably qualified organisations to express an interest in this opportunity and to aid us in our pre-market exerciseThe information gathered in this exercise regarding possible solutions to the challenges outlined above will enable Vale of Glamorgan to develop the best route forward for the service.Some remote demos may also be arranged after this initial pre-market exercise.
