West Suffolk CCG has been reviewing musculoskeletal (MSK) services in the context of the wider Health and Care Review for a number of years, which has culminated in a vision for integrated Physiotherapy services. Within West Suffolk, two (2) local providers have delivered a wide range of MSK services for a number of years. The CCG believes the vision for integrated MSK services would be best delivered through these providers as they are uniquely placed to truly integrate services, secure the identified needs of the population, improve quality and efficiency of services, realise seamless service provision across the MSK pathways and increase service sustainability. To achieve this vision, the intention is to deliver the services through two (2) organisations working collaboratively through a lead and sub-contract to deliver seamless community and acute care.
