The Department for International Development (DFID) has a requirement to engage the services of a Supplier to tackle Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in Northern Nigeria, through an integrated approach using mass drug administration. The contract will run for 4 years and will also include technical support to the Ministry of Health at State and Federal levels and behaviour change communication in targeted areas. The goal of the contract will be to reduce the prevalence of NTDs in Nigeria, and to establish sustainable integrated NTD programmes in targeted areas of the country. The organisation intending to lead on the contract should have an existing operational platform in Nigeria, and have sufficient organisational technical experience in implementing NTD mass drug administration programmes. The tender will allow more than one organisation to be part of a bid, as long as there is 1 clear lead organisation that will be responsible for the contact and accountable for all activities and results.
