1)To assist the discovery/gather all new/existing/potential commercial ideas/projects/innovation across the entire institution.a)A systematic review of the IP assets owned and/or generated by Trinity Saint David.b)A checklist of all registered and unregistered IP and any IP licences to third parties licences from third parties and cross licences should also be identified.c)The contractor will meet all Heads of Faculty/Schools/Departments and all interested academic members of the University to explore, discover and record ideas/commercial teaching/research activities.2)To undertake an initial idea ‘ranking’ evaluation based on the findings.a)Carry out IP searches (To determine whether a similar product/service/idea exists and whether it has been registered as either a patent, copyright, trademark, etc.)b)Carry out basic market research to determine the product/service ‘value/benefit’3)To advise on the initial filing or registration of intellectual property.
