Internet of Things Smoke Alarms and Intruder Detection (IDS)

Descriptions

Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd (HIAL) have a number of unoccupied buildings that would benefit from additional Smoke detection or Intruder Detection Systems (IDS). This has been identified as an on-going risk and they are looking to reduce that risk through procurement of IoT sensors providing Smoke Alarm & IDS remote monitoring and alerting services. With this in mind, HIAL would like to trial a monitoring system for unoccupied building Smoke and Intrusion providing alerts and alarms both locally and on a management console / dashboard. Alerts and alarms will also be expected to be transmitted through various channels eg. Teams, text messaging, broadcast phone calls and sirens in the 24/7 manned gate house at Inverness airport. HIAL currently use Wansey as a device management centre for IoT devices, and Grafana as a dashboard to display data, and any solution would ideally make use of these. HIAL would be looking to trial 4 devices, most likely at Dundee Airport. This airport already features a LoRaWAN Gateway. The trial would be for 6 months. The scope of requirement involves on-site assessment, design , supply and installation of appropriate devices, commissioning and service support.
