The trust are looking to engage with a supplier for to provide a intra operative spinal imaging system with spinal navigation capability to enhance our neuro/spinal service and support out Better Care and Lower Cost programme.The trust are looking for an innovative system that delivers the following objectives:— Safer surgery using less theatre time;— Fewer cases of spinal implant malposition;— Fewer cases of CSF shunt/drain malposition;— Fewer emergency unplanned returns to theatre;— Shorter length of stay;— Fewer spinal CT scans and x-rays;— Benefits across a breadth of neurosurgery sub-specialities:— Deep brain stimulation;— Spine;— CSF / hydrocephalus;— Neuro-oncology ;— Emergency Neurosurgery.
