Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd (CCG) is looking to develop a new Intranet system to improve its service and internal communications. The organisation is therefore seeking an experienced company to provide a complete solution for this project.The tender offer made by the software provider must provide the services outlined in schedules 1 and 2 below. The services within schedule 1 are firm requirements that are needed from the project’s initiation, while schedule 2 may be additional services required in the future.Schedule 1An easy-to-use software application/package that will allow CCG’s Web and Digital Communications Officer to develop the intranet to meet, and also further exceed the vision outlined above from a selection of templates that can be branded to meet CCG’s corporate identity.Training session(s) on using the software package provided along with a complete step-by-step user guide. Additional services (e.g. online tutorials, quick guides, video tutorials, FAQ answers, telephone helpdesk, free seminars etc.) would be advantageous.A localisation feature that ensures the entire intranet is interchangeable between Welsh and English – based on the user’s language preference (‘remember my language’ feature would also be beneficial).To be able to install and host the system on one of CCG’s existing on-site servers in order to avoid the dependency on external servers and any additional on-going costs.The software should allow the intranet to be interoperable with existing systems/applications and provide easy access to these systems. Allowing software skinning and single sign-on (SSO) features would also be a major benefit as using a selection of CCG’s existing computerised systems under the single theme of the intranet would ease the staff on its usability.The intranet should be accessible remotely from personal PCs and computers as well as smartphones and other devices.You should demonstrate the benefits that your product’s features can bring to a housing association’s intranet by providing a specific version of the software purpose built for this market and showing how similar organisations have benefited due to an investment into your services.Schedule 2Provide CCG with any future updates to the software that may be implemented post-purchase along with additional training session(s) and documentation/user guides.
