The construction of the West Link Road (A8082), Stage 1 from Holm Roundabout to Glenurquhart Road (A82), 2.2km of new 7.3m wide single carriageway road, 4 roundabouts, a new 3 span bridge over the River Ness, 2 underpasses with associated drainage, earthworks, fencing, landscaping, new access tracks/paths, street lighting, services installations and all ancillary works; and the construction of the Canal Parks Enhancement project including a new artificial pitch to International Rugby Board standards, 2 grass pitches, a new 8 room, 2-storey changing and clubhouse facility, car and bus parking and boundary fencing including ball stop fencing; and pitch and car park lighting.A temporary road closure traffic order will be available during the Works period that will permit the closure of the north end of Bught Road as part of the traffic management arrangements that the Contractor will be required to undertake.Major diversions relating to BT and the installation of new services supplies to the clubhouse facility will be included. The Contractor will be required to programme and provide access onto the Site to permit BT to carry out these works.
