Invitation to Tender - Restorative Justice Services in Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
Descriptions
Victim Support is commissioned by Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) through funding by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to deliver victim services. The funding is anticipated to continue into 2022/23, although the level of funding will not be confirmed prior to the commencement of this tendering process. The grant will be issued to commission and/or provide and develop victims’ support services, including Restorative Justice (RJ), for Devon and Cornwall., Restorative Justice (RJ) is the process of bringing together victims with those responsible for the harm, to find a positive way forward. It can provide a means of closure and enable the victim to move on. RJ also provides an opportunity for those responsible for harm to face the consequences of their actions, recognise the impact that it has had upon others and, where possible make amends. In this way, RJ has the potential to help rehabilitate those responsible for harm and enable them to stop causing such harm., Victim Support is inviting organisations to tender for the delivery of this service from 1st April 2022. This service focuses on the delivery of RJ for multi-crime and also a mandatory dedicated service to support victims of serious violence (this element will require separate budget and outcomes monitoring)., Tenders will only be accepted through the MyTenders Portal.
