House of Illustration is the UK’s only public gallery devoted to the art of illustration.It has recently purchased a 0,17 ha site at New River Head in Islington which includes a series of historically significant listed buildings that played a vital role in bringing fresh water to central London in the 18th century. The restoration and extension of the buildings will provide House of Illustration with up to 1 000 m2 of internal space for the relocation and expansion of its current operations.
