Descriptions
Southern Water has an ongoing need to deliver managed IT services and projects, for which existing contracts are expiring. A transformation of the IT environment is under way to bring significant improvements in value for money, service quality, reduced service cost and continuous improvement. SWS plan to establish a new supplier ecosystem by partnering with specialist managed service partners who have capability and expertise in the following fields:— Lot 1 — Infrastructure and Hosting Services;— Lot 2 — Networking, Communications and Telemetry (out of scope for this Contract Notice);— Lot 3 — End User Computing (out of scope for this Contract Notice);— Lot 4 — Applications Management and Business Services Integrator.SWS have an ongoing Procurement exercise for Lots 2 and 3. Therefore, the purpose of this Contract Notice is to publish our intention to invite responses that address Lots 1 and 4. SWS invite submissions either for Lot 1 and for Lot 4 separately and/or, in addition, invite submissions for the combined delivery of both Lot 1 and 4 as SWS would like to get synergistic propositions from the market for Lots 1 and 4. Southern Water Services, therefore reserves the right to award a single contract for the delivery of Lots 1 and 4.Over the course of market engagement the number and structure of lots may be rationalised to reflect market interest and the requirements of Southern Water Services Ltd
