ITT for the Install of the Chemical Cleaning System
Descriptions
Currently the site is using a mixture of chemical and pressure jetters as part of the hygienewashdown system.To comply with customer requirements we are installing a dedicated chemical cleaning systemwhich consists of:- Centralised pressure pumps Localised wash down stations (Chemical and Water).The specification is to install a 54mm ring main from the boiler room around the productionfacility in the attic voids, with drops to each hygiene station and water outlets. The ring mainis to be insulated with Armaflex 9mm lagging on completion.A new 25mm compressed air line ring will also be run adjacent to the hot water pipe with 8mmconnections to each hygiene station.The hygiene stations and pump booster set will be free issue.The airline will be run too & from the same point as the hot water supply (in the plant roomarea). As the water pressure in the new hygiene station ring main is higher than the sitepressure, a new hot water buffer vessel, plate heat exchanger, 1000 litre buffer vessel &primary pump will be required.This ITT should be read in conjunction with the relevant UK Standards:-The facility is approximately 6750m2 in size.It is estimated that the ring main would be approximately 350m in size but is the responsibilityof the supplier / installer to verify.The design document should be presented in the format that will allow Capestone to releasein a further Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the procurement and install of the equipment.Format of provided documentation shall be as follows:-Pdf and MS Word for the Design documentationAutoCAD (or equivalent) and pdf for drawings.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=107491.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
