Within The Heads of the Valley area there has been a strategic project, named ''JobMatch'', running since 2007, which engages with disadvantaged clients and moves them from inactivity into economic activity by providing opportunities for training, volunteering, work experience, employment and career development. The project was previously developed and piloted in Blaenau Gwent in 2003 and was approved for rollout across the Head of the Valley area in 2007. This contract is for the delivery of JobMatch services across Blaenau Gwent, Merthyr Tydfil, Powys and Torfaen.This Service is being advertised through 3 Lots:Lot1: Blaenau GwentLot2: Merthyr Tydfil and PowysLot3: Torfaen.Providers may bid for any lots they wish and are not required to bid for all three lots if they do not wish to.Under this Service the Contractor is required to participate actively in the economic and Social Regeneration of the locality and surrounding the place of delivery for the Service. Accordingly contract performance decisions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.The awarding Authority reserves the right to request parent company and/or other guarantees of performance and financial liability.Payment terms will be indicated in the contract documents. Tenders to be priced in Sterling.
