Within The Heads of the Valley area there has been a strategic project, named 'JobMatch', running for the last 3 years which engages with disadvantaged clients and moves them from inactivity into economic activity by providing opportunities for training, volunteering, work experience, employment and career development. The project was previously developed and piloted in Blaenau Gwent and was approved for rollout across the Head of the Valley area. This contract is for the delivery of JobMatch services across Powys.Under this Service the Contractor is required to participate actively in the economic and Social Regeneration of the locality and surrounding the place of delivery for the Service. Accordingly contract performance decisions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.Currently funding is available until March 2013, however annually there will be reviews as to the continuity of the service, and subject to satisfaction with the delivery and funding being available from the sponsoring bodies there may be an opportunity to extend this contract further.The awarding Authority reserves the right to request parent company and/or other guarantees of performance and financial liability.Payment terms will be indicated in the contract documents. Tenders to be priced in Sterling.
