Jerpoint Glass Studio is a Glassblowing studio located in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Founded in 1979, Jerpoint Glass has always emphasised clean, simple and functional designs for its glassware pieces. The family Studio is a well known name in Ireland, in the UK and the United States of America. Jerpoint Glass Studio is currently using a LPG gas furnace to melt the glass used in the workshop. In a move to become a cleaner and more efficient operation, and also in light of recent and future natural gas price increases, Jerpoint plans to change its current gas furnace to an electric one.
