Bridgend County Borough Council (the Council) intends to publish a Contract Notice in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) for the procurement of recyclables and waste management services on 1st April 2016. The services are anticipated to mainly include the following:•Source segregated collection of recyclables and food waste from households;•Collection of residual waste from households; and•Management of the Council’s household waste recycling centres.The contract is to be procured using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation.The Qualification Questionnaire (QQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) are to be combined into a single stage. Bidders will be given 13 weeks to submit the combined QQ and ITT.The Procurement process will be conducted in the Bravo ETendering portal (https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml).The Council will reserve the right to award the contract based on initial tender submissions without entering into negotiation with bidders.The contract will commence on 1st April 2017.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=40948.
