Descriptions
Velindre NHS Trust acting as hosts of the NHS Wales Informatics Service intends to enter into a temporary extension of the current contract with Intersystems for the provision of a laboratory information management system. The temporary extended contract will last for a period of up to 5 years (starting June 2020). The extension is necessary for NHS Wales to continue using the laboratory information management system whilst the Trust undertakes a competitive dialogue tender for a new laboratory information management system on behalf of NHS Wales and to allow sufficient time to migrate off the existing contract on to the replacement contract.
