Tenders are sought for the supply and delivery of a Chemical Engineering Process Technology Involved Heat & Fluid Flow Teaching Module for the University of Limerick. Reaction engineering is a key element of chemical engineering knowledge and is closely connected with heat exchange phenomena and mixing/pressure changes which occur during these processes. This aspect will be taught to chemical engineering students through process technology teaching modules which will demonstrate chemical reaction capabilities, heat exchange and separation processes. Chemical Engineering Process Technology Involved Heat & Fluid Flow Teaching Module comprising the following units: 1. Chemical reactors teaching equipment for conducting continuous stirred tank reactor processes.2. Chemical reactors teaching equipment for conducting reaction in tubular flow.3. Stirred tank reactors in series unit.4. Ion exchange unit.5. Computer controlled heat exchanger module. 6. Computer controlled jacketed vessel with coil and stirrer heat exchanger module.7. Saturation pressure apparatus8. Fluid mixing studies apparatus.9. Permeability/fluidisation studies apparatus.This equipment will be used in a teaching lab. For continuity of teaching, suppliers must be able to provide all instruments listed above as a suite.
