The Council is looking for a company to provide testing for either, or both, Lamby Way and Ferry Road sites, to satisfy Environment Agency Permit and Licensing Conditions. Both sites are non-hazardous landfill sites and in order to maintain Cardiffs permit to operate, tests have to be carried out on the surrounding areas including Landfill Gas, Ground Water, Lechate and Surface Water; the acceptable levels for these substances are set out in Cardiffs permit.
