Introduction The Land Registry intends to complete a competitive open tender procurement process for a package of ventilation alteration works at Castle Wharf Building Nottingham, the procurement process will be managed through the Contracts finder procurement portal. The works are required to be completed whilst the building is in operation, therefore the Land Registry are conducting a supplier day as part of the procurement process to enable contractors to familiarise themselves with the building and consider how they will deliver the required programme. The project manager and designer will be available on the day to discuss the project requirements and answer any contractor queries. All interested parties should register their expression of interest, and select a preferred timeslot, meetings will be ran on a one to one basis at 60 minute intervals commencing at 9am - proposed date 11th December 2018 Project description The works comprise the replacement of the existing air distribution system supplied by existing VRV system (to be retained) to alleviate an inherent issues with the air distribution. The client is to provide a works package to be executed through an NEC3 option A contract (Contractors design and sectional completion options to be selected), comprising the works information, tender drawings and pre-construction information. Full tender information will be made available in Jan 2019 and will give details of where to submit bids using Land Registrys e-tendering system.
