Land Train Concession at Sandwell Valley Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting quotations from responsible and suitable operators to supply and operate a Land Train within Sandwell Valley. Designated locations are listed in the specification. Term of Contract The concession will be for a one (1) year period commencing 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 with an option to extend for a further 12 months. Value of Contract Operators will provide a cost for a one (1) year period for concession 2022/2023 and price will be awarded on the bidder whose proposal represents the highest bid. Concession period 2023/2024 is not a guaranteed year and operators will provide a cost for Information purposes only should the Sandwell Valley Management Team decide to invoke the option to extend the concession for a further 12 months. Payment Concession Fees Payment Concession Fees will remain fixed for the first 12 months of the contract. Making 2 payments per financial year. However, if the concession is extended for a further 12 months, a meeting with the Sandwell Valley Management Team and the successful operator will be held.
