CCW has received a complaint that the following sentence is discriminatory: "The CCW are seeking to establish framework agreements with a limited number of landscape architect practices in Wales to supply landscape advisory services for 4 years." CCW wishes to assure any interested parties that this was not the intention. and this badly worded sentence should have read "The CCW are seeking to establish framework agreements with a limited number of landscape architect practices to supply landscape advisory services for 4 years in Wales." We apologise for any confusion this may have caused.The Deadline has been extended until 9th February 2011.The CCW are seeking to establish framework agreements with a limited number of landscape architect practices in Wales to supply landscape advisory services for 4 years. The advice will be used to inform:•CCW’s response to planning applications and other applications for consents and licences and;•CCW’s input to plans, strategies and projects.•CCW’s pre-application advice to applicantsThe work will be split into 3 lots:Lot 1Advice on the impact of development proposals on landscape and visual amenity; scoping and reviewing landscape and visual amenity sections of environmental statements; expert witness at Public Inquiry related to these topics. Lot 2Input into masterplanning; landscape management plans and strategies.Lot 3In house training to CCW staff on landscape and visual amenity assessments.You are invited to express an interest in one, many or all lots.
