At the heart of Scottish Enterprise's (SE) business plan is a recognition that businesses in Scotland need to succeed at an international level to achieve strong and sustainable economic growth. One of the key drivers of this success will be the leadership capability of high potential growth firms. Critical to this is encouraging companies to develop greater workplace innovation, aligning a company's growth objectives with its people, skills and talent priorities in order to drive improved competitiveness and productivity growth.To develop leaders in a variety of growth companies, Scottish Enterprise wishes to appoint 3 suppliers to deliver a framework contract. Successful applicants will be required to cover all of Scottish Enterprise's geographic area.The following programmes are required that will suit businesses of different sizes and stages of growth.‘Leadership for Growth' is an existing Scottish Enterprise programme which has successfully run since October 2007 supporting over 1 000 business leaders to develop their ambition and confidence to implement strategic business change. While we are looking to continue delivery to our account managed companies we also want to deliver a leadership programme to the wider company base, this programme is known as ‘Leadership Essentials'.It is anticipated that the contract will be for an initial 3 year period and commence in April 2015 and run until March 2018, with the option to extend the contract for a further 1 year period.
