Descriptions
The service aims to provide highly specialist learning disability health services to improve the physical and mental health and welling being for adults with learning disabilities living in Wandsworth. The service consists of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) of professionals who work together to provide specialist input to adults with Learning Disabilities. Each professional provides a range of assessments and interventions, some of which will be unique to the professional group and others which will be shared with other professions. The service provides community:— nursing,— dietetics,— dysphagia,— exercise management,— occupational therapy,— physiotherapy,— psychological therapy, and— speech and language therapy.
