This tender is for the manufacture and supply of 8no. 2.25m high engraved limestone sentinels for erection by others in a Memorial Garden. The County Sligo Great War Memorial Garden is to be located in the Regional Park at Cleveragh, Sligo. The memorial garden is to be created by ‘Lest Sligo Forgets’, a local community initiative, in partnership with Sligo County Council, the Peace IV/LCDC Programme, and other public and private donors and supporters. The tender comprises the following: 1. Manufacture of the 8no. sentinels, engraved on one edge with “Lest Sligo Forgets” logo as illustrated on the drawings.2. Storage of the 8no. sentinels in a secure location for a period of 6 months.3. Final engraving of names of war-dead onto the 8no. sentinels as illustrated on the drawings.4. Supply to site in Sligo of the sentinels for erection by the selected main contractor.
