INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR LIFE SCIENCES HUB WALES LIMITEDClosing Date: 13 March 2015 at 12.00 middayContact officer: Events & Operations Manager Wendy DavisTel: 02920 467030E-mail: wendy.davis@lifescienceshubwales.comThe Life Sciences Hub Wales are looking for a Facilities Management company to over the following:HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENTHealth and Safety management for the delivery of the FM services to be undertaken delivered under the requirements of the FMs accreditation to ISO18001 including:• Statutory testing of equipment• Full Fire and H&S Risk Assessment• 6 monthly fire drills• Health and safety compliance• Production of COSHH, risk assessments and method statements required for the delivery of the FMServicesRICK MANAGEMENTProvide an initial site based risk assessment and risk management plan.ENERGY MANAGEMENTTo undertake meter readings, provide quarterly and annual reports and undertake regular energy reviews.HELPDESKProvide a remote helpdesk facility to respond to service calls and emergencies that includes:• A central facility for the reporting of all service issues• Response to service requests and works orders• Customer satisfaction reviews and complaints handlingPLANNED MAINTENANCE OF THE INSTALLED PLANT AND EQUIPMENT• To undertake annual planned maintenance of the installed plant and equipment to the tenant areas only so exclude the maintenance of plant that forms part of the common building infrastructure, such as heating and chilled beams, fire alarms and door access systems. Proposals should allow for maintenance of plant equipment specific to the LSHW tenant areas• Statutory inspections and examinations• Planned maintenance of the electrical and mechanical installations, including 4 No. local ventilation and air conditioning systems to the Board Room, Presentation area, Media Ready Room and IT Room• Maintenance of light fittings and replacement of failed lamps• Kitchen equipment maintenance – 2 no. hot water boilers• PAT Testing (up to 50 items per annum)• Water temperature testing for tenant outlets• Portable fire extinguisher maintenance (12 in total)NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=23731.
