Descriptions
The proposed works comprise the modernisation of two lift installations utilising microprocessor control and closed loop VVVF drive systems to maximise ride quality and energy efficiency together with new matched motors and gearboxes, brakes, ropes, pulleys and sheaves. The works shall also incorporate new lift cabins and slings, new car doors and door operators and new landing entrances together with the provision of planned and reactive maintenance of the in service lift during the works and of both lifts for the defects liability period. The 2 lifts each serve 21 floors in an existing multi-storey block of flats.
