Kilkenny LEADER Partnership (KLP) propose to contract a suitably qualified and experienced individual or party to provide support and leadership as a part-time, temporary coordinator to Lingaun Valley Tourism Clg, the wider Lingaun Valley community and businesses and other stakeholders in the development of the region as a tourism destination. KLP welcomes submissions including quotes for fee costs for this role.The contract will be of approximately eight months duration, commencing in late April 2023. The Lingaun Valley is a small region of approximately 15 square kilometres on the southern borders of counties Kilkenny and Tipperary.The Coordinator (a contractor) will initially be asked to work with the stakeholders to develop a 12-month operational plan, based on the available research material and what emerges as opportunities in the process. The further development of the Lingaun Valley ‘Augmented Reality’ (AR) smartphone application will be one of the tasked the Coordinator will be asked to lead. •The Coordinator will be expected to be flexible in their support of Lingaun Valley Tourism Clg and the stakeholders, and the work will be essentially goals driven and evaluated, as agreed by the parties on award. However, for guidance, but there is a broad expectation that the party will be available to them for 3 to 4 full time equivalent (FTE) days over the course of an average week.•Normal hours of work will be between 9 am to 5 pm, but there will be a requirement to work evenings and weekends on occasions to be agreed with KLP.•The base of operations will be agreed with KLP and other stakeholders but is likely to be a mixture of sites in the Lingaun Valley region, KLP offices and the Coordinator’s home base.•The fee quoted for this work should be all inclusive of VAT and travel and any other regular/ predicable expenses.•The total fee (inclusive of all the above elements) must not exceed €30,000, which will be payable in no more than 6 trances.
