The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) intends to appoint Viridor Waste Management Ltd, Peninsula House, Rydon Lane, Exeter EX2 7HR for the completion of a Small Business Renewable Initiative (SBRI) project to deliver and test a 5 MW energy storage and power generation system using liquid nitrogen as the storage medium based at Pilsworth.Requirements:— 6 month testing of the 5 MW Pilsworth energy storage system,— data gathering and analysis of the 6 month operating period, and— completion of the final report to BEIS.
