The LGA invites Tenders for the provision of Conference and Office Cat A and Cat B Accommodation — Local Government House Refurbishment at Local Government House, Smith Square, London, SW1P 3HZ.It is proposed that the project will deliver:— A refurbished conference suite suitable for internal events and commercial hiring, to Cat B;— Maximum of 3 floors of office accommodation for the LGA and its core partners, to Cat B;— A further 3 floors released for high quality commercial letting, to Cat A;— Floors 7 and 8 retained for membership events and meetings but with the flexibility to release floor 7 for external letting at a later stage if required, to Cat B;— Refurbished kitchen and toilet facilities;— Formal and informal meeting spaces;— Mechanical and electrical upgrades and modernization;— It is anticipated that the building will be fully decanted for the duration of the contract;— Strip out works to be let as part of the PCSA.The duration of the contract is 27 weeks, subject.
