London Academy was opened in September 2004 in its original buildings of the former Edgware School; it moved to its present purpose built accommodation in September 2006.The Academy has a roll of some 1 510 students of which 440 are in the 6th form.A new purpose built 6th form centre was opened in September 2013.The security services at the Academy are currently managed by ADS Security Limited.The Academy is placing this service to competitive tender and is inviting professional security organisations to bid for the 24 hour/52 week contract which will be awarded following due process by 20.5.2015.Due to the short time span prior to contract award the tender is being managed through an accelerated OJEU process.Note: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the myTenders Web Site at http://www.myTenders.org/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=148629
