The contract is for the design and construction of a new container park for repairing and storing empty containers for DP World London Gateway, Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.The container park will be approximately 5 acres in size and will include the following facilities:— Heavy duty pavement for storage of containers;— Roads connecting the facility with the existing roads;— Pretrip facility for refrigerated containers;— Facilities for washing and repair of containers;— Lighting;— Offices;— Mess;— Small repair workshops.The works are to be constructed and complete by the end of 2017.
