Lost Peatlands of South Wales Project – Specialist Survey: Invertebrates

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council's Countryside & Wildlife Team has made an award for the appointment of a consultant to undertake specialist invertebrate surveys at a number of locations within a large scale habitat restoration project. The results of these surveys will inform the management and restoration works proposed for the sites and will provide baseline information for ongoing monitoring.This proposed contract is part of a 1 year project entitled ‘Lost Peatland of South Wales’ which started at the end of July 2019. This proposed contract will start October 2019 and will be completed June 2020.The successful consultant will work alongside the Lost Peatland of South Wales' Project Team in delivering the project acting under supervision of the Project Ecologist.
