The following is meant only as a guide to what we are wishing to commission providers will have their own views on methodology and we are looking for your expertise in making the case for what will work best when completing the accompanying RtQ response template. Please complete bottom section here on Quotation Submission Providers. To deliver:- An employer-led targeted form work and shuttering opportunity for 20 unemployed residents of the target boroughs to enable brokering onto NEV sites with relevant sub-contractors where there is significant sub-structure activity happening / due to happen. The proposal should demonstrate clearly how it is employer led and meets industry-demand requirements in its lesson plan design and demonstrate how it can achieve success in placing trainees into entry roles in industry through its links, track record, and through continual improvement and innovation. The project needs to demonstrate through its method statement how it will address the preparation, installation and quality management of all stages of the formwork and falsework process. Apprentices will be required to work safely and competently in a site based environment in addition to completing all elements of pre-vocational qualification. Responsibilities 1.To be able to form timber to the correct requirements and shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws. 2.Assemble and fasten materials to make framework, falsework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails or pins 3.Build, repair and assemble formworks and falsework structures 4.Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environment 5.Able to interpret verbal and written instructions and information 6.Adept at establishing relationships with all parties on the construction site from management to operative level 7.Able to organize assigned tasks, for completion alone or with help 8.Able to envision all steps in assigned tasks 9.Understanding and competency of temporary works 10.Ability to use MEWPs safely and competently 11.Working safely at heights Desirable Criteria •Experience of the construction industry •An understanding of Formwork and Formwork Carpentry Essential Criteria •Drug and Alcohol test pass •Willingness to work at significant height •Over 18 ________________________________________ Provide access to those who pass the course to an Apprenticeship offer: First Stage Interview (Drugs & Alcohol Testing and CITB SLE assessment) Second Stage Interview (Taster Day with Interview): Trial Employment Placement: Apprenticeship Training Start: To Achieve:- -Working with the Borough Brokerages to engage 30 learners providing IAG and information session. -20 learner starts – 75% pass rate (min.) = 15 completions. -12 work placement starts -10 into jobs
