Contract Award for the service provision for the continued development and delivery of an engagement model for the representation and involvement of people with disabilities in Tower Hamlets. The timeframe for delivery is January 2017 - December 2018 and the contract will be for two years with an option to extend for a further year following a review of project performance and any emerging issues and needs that should be addressed in future work. The aims of this engagement model are to: • Understand the needs and priorities of people with disabilities in Tower Hamlets • Improve the quality of life for people with disabilities living and working in the borough through ensuring their rights and interests are represented and their voices are heard • Provide positive access to services for the disabled community through engaging policy makers and service providers on disability issues The anticipated contract start date is: Friday, 20 January 2017 The estimated value of the contract is: £25,000 Per Annum For a period of: 24 months with the option to extend for a further 12 month period.
