The Dairy Processing Technology Centre, University of Limerick is seeking a specialist courier with support services for temperature critical, time sensitive milk sample transportation. A lab sampling courier with temperature controlled storage for same day collection and delivery of milk samples from each of our industry partners, 1 day each week for a period of 12 months with the option of extending for up to 3 years (budget depending), commencing Q1 ’21. Collection points include: •Aurivo Co-op, Ballaghadereen, Co. Roscommon•Lakeland Dairies, Baileborough, Co. Cavan•Glanbia, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny•Arrabawn Co-op, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary•Tipperary Co-op, Tipperary Town•Dairygold, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork•Kerry, Listowel, Co. Kerry•Carbery, Ballineen, Co. CorkSame day delivery is required to Teagasc Laboratory Services Moorepark Co. Cork.There may be occasions that the delivery point may be changed to one of the below locations. •University of Limerick, Bernal Institute, Limerick, V94 T9PX•University College Cork, 1 College Rd, Cork, T12 TP07•University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin 4•National University of Galway, University Road, GalwayThe initial contract is for a period of 12 months with the option to extend by up to 12 Months on 2 (two) such occasions. This length of this research programme contract is funding dependant.
