A package of 2 new field emission scanning electron microscopes (FE-SEM) is required within the Loughborough Materials Characterisation Centre to perform imaging and analysis on a wide range of materials. It is anticipated that the two instruments will have different specifications; both will be capable of a core set of functions but each system will have different advanced features which will complement the other to provide comprehensive package.
