The purpose of this full QQI Level 5 Award is to enableshort and long term unemployed individuals, many of whom could be early school leavers to: Receive the necessary training input to secure QQI Level 5 Health Care Support Award Code 5M4339 Acquire the knowledge, skill, and competence to work under supervision in providing support in a varietyof Healthcare settings Secure work experience as part of course Progress to part-time or full-time employment in the healthcare sector. Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge relating to the healthcare support role and to the health andwellbeing of clients in a variety of healthcare settings.
