Maintenance contract for the Alcatel Lucent Voice and Data Network Equipment.

Over the last 5 years, Merseytravel have invested heavily in a converged network based on Alcatel Lucent technologies. This equipment now runs our entire network estate including data centre, backbone and local area networks along with an Alcatel Lucent IP telephony solution. This infrastructure covers our entire estate and has locations throughout Merseyside including hostile environments within our Tunnels.Our initial maintenance contract expires at the end of November 2013 and we would like to invite qualified interested parties to bid for on-going maintenance of both the network and IP telephony systems. This will be for a 3 year period with an option 2 year extension.
