Kent Community Health NHS Trust (KCHT) invites expressions of interest from bidders to undertake the routine maintenance of beds, baths and hoists including LOLER testing at KCHT sites located across Kent and Medway.For equipment covered by the ‘Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998' (‘LOLER') 1 (one) LOLER visit will be required every six months. The routine maintenance for all equipment will include one annual Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) visit.The contract will include repair and maintenance services to:— Community Hospitals (In-patient units),— Out-patient units,— Health centres,— KCHT also win bids outside the geographical boundaries of Kent which may be included in this contract.This list is not exhaustive and will change throughout the duration of the contract.The initial term of this contract will be 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months in tranches of 12 months.The list of sites and services may increase or decrease due to constant changes within the NHS. This may include the addition of work outside the Kent area.Please note that TUPE may apply to this contract, this will be determined within the invitation to tender documents.Expressions of interest must be submitted via the procurement portal Due North also known as Supplying to the NHS. Bidders will be required to complete a PQQ the evaluation of this PQQ will establish those bidders that will be short-listed and permitted to tender.KCHT reserve the right to limit the number of bidders invited to participate to between six and eight using the PQQ to short list and inviting the top highest scoring bidders through to invitation to tender stage.The tender will be evaluated on the basis of 70 % financial and 30 % non-financial (quality) criteria. This will be broken down further within the invitation to tender documents.
